The brief
Goecker needed film content from IBC in Amsterdam, the industry's largest broadcast and media show, where five of the brands they carry had stands spread across the halls. The films had to work two ways at once: long-form on Goecker's own channels for the people who wanted the detail, and vertical reels under a minute for social. Interview slots with each brand were booked in advance, so the shooting days ran to a fixed schedule with no room to drift.
What we did
We flew to Amsterdam and covered all five brands on the RAI show floor, working stand to stand between the booked slots — Canon on the C400 and C80, Sony on the Z200 and the BRC-AM7, Core SWX on their SNAP batteries, Kelvin on the Epos and Play series, and Blazar on the Remus anamorphic lenses. Each brand got a long 16:9 film built around its interview and product focus, and from the same material we cut a vertical version under a minute for reels. Everything was shot and finished in 4K, branded to Goecker, and delivered through Frame.io within days of getting home.
The result
Ten films from one trip: five in 16:9 running from a minute and a half to nearly seven, and the same five cut to 9:16 for social. It was the second year running we covered IBC for Goecker, and the Focus Nordic brands were shot on the same trip — two clients, one flight, one show floor.
